Biography
FEMALE GUITAR PLAYER
Anouck André is a French female guitar player.
She started to play the guitar at the age of 17. Her first teacher, Philippe Letort, taught her the basics of the instrument. A few years later, Anouck developped her fingerpicking style with the help of Eric Louis. She also benefited from one to one guidance by the guitar legend Rick Graham.
In 2006, Anouck was accepted at the Music Academy International, in Nancy, from which she graduated in 2007.
Since then, she has been teaching guitar, running workshops and masterclasses, as well as pursuing diverse personal projects, solo or through various collaborations.
Due to her online success, Anouck has been endorsed by brands such as Dunlop, tc electronics and Reunion Blues, which products regularly feature in her videos.
She regulary shares videos on her Youtube channel, like gear reviews, lessons, and music videos.
Anouck also performs for International Trade Shows, like NAMM (U.S.A ) or Musikmesse (Germany). Her pedagogical and teaching qualities have been recognized by the french national written press.
Anouck has been a regular contributor of the magazine Guitar Xtreme since May 2014.
Anouck is the founder of the 30 Days guitar Challenge.
The first edition was very well received amongst the online guitar community.
She also created the guitar blog GuitarUp with her brother Vianney André.
In 2015 she was involved in a video collaboration among other female guitar players including Lari Basilio, Irene Ketikidi and Laura Klinkert.
The video has been highlighted by the famous magazine Guitar World.
In 2016 Anouck André and Serge Lopez released an album together El tren del Sur.
Since 2017 Anouck is endorsed by Ibanez guitars
